			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Regular exercise is especially important for a diabetic.  Exercise helps control the amount of sugar in the blood and increases levels of HDL (good) cholesterol.  It also burns excess calories and fat to help achieve optimal weight and significantly affects how the body utilizes insulin. Most diabetics don&#8217;t believe that performing exercises regularly will help control blood sugar levels, and either decrease the severity or reduce the long-term complications of diabetes.  Understanding the relationships between food, diabetes medication, and activity levels is essential to controlling blood sugar levels.  Each interacts with the others.  As a diabetic, you must find a balance for your individual situation. Not all types of exercises can be performed by every diabetic.  Aerobic exercises are moderate intensity and a good place for a diabetic to begin.  Such exercises increase the heart rate, work on muscles, and improve the breathing capacity of the lungs.  Aerobic exercises are usually performed 30 minutes to an hour for five days a week. You burn energy when exercising &#8211; your energy source being the excess glucose in your blood.  The more glucose you use, the lower your glucose levels.  Although your goal is low glucose levels, exercise can cause your blood sugar to drop too low. Do some physical activity each day.  If you are relatively inactive, start with about 10 minutes of exercise. Add more time, or increase the frequency up to three times a day.  In other words, a total of 30 minutes a day will work wonders for the body. Formal exercises you can choose from:</p>
<ol>
<li>Swim or do water aerobic exercises.</li>
<li>Ride your bicycle outside or a stationary bicycle indoors.  The advantage of a stationary bicycle is your exercise routine is independent of the weather.</li>
<li>Take a brisk walk.  This exercise can take place outside or inside.  Outside might include walking around one or more blocks, following a path at a local park, or using a track at a school.  For indoors, you can walk up and down stairs, walk a path from one room to another and back and forth, or walk on a treadmill.</li>
<li>Vacuuming.  This mixes walking with stretching of leg, arm and back muscles.</li>
<li>Go ice-skating or roller-skating.</li>
<li>Go dancing.</li>
<li>Jog or play tennis.</li>
</ol>
<p>Measuring your blood sugar level before and after your exercise routine can be a real motivator.  Diabetics will commonly see a 20 percent decrease in their blood sugar levels after exercising. Remember, any activity will burn calories, and increase your energy level. Some aerobic activities You can do during the day include walking instead of driving, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking down every aisle of the grocery store, or parking the car at the far end of the shopping center lot and walking to the store. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Modern life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations, and many demands. For a lot of people, stress is so common that it has become part of everyday life. Stress isn&#8217;t always that bad. In small doses, it can help you under pressure and motivate you to do your best. But when you&#8217;re always running in emergency mode, your mind and body pay the ultimate price.</p>
<p>If you frequently find yourself feeling frustrated and overwhelmed, it&#8217;s time to take action to bring your nervous system back into balance. You can protect yourself by teaching yourself how to recognize the signs and symptoms of stress and taking steps to reduce its harmful effects.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s essential to learn how to realize when your stress levels are out of control. The most dangerous thing about stress is how fast it can creep up on you. You get used to it. It starts to feel familiar or even normal. You don&#8217;t notice the depth it is affecting you, even as it takes a heavy toll.</p>
<p>The signs and symptoms of stress overload can be almost anything. Stress affects the mind, body, and behavior in many ways, and everyone experiences stress differently.</p>
<p>Symptoms of stress</p>
<p>* Seeing only the negative not focusing on the positive<br />
<br />* Constantly worrying<br />
<br />* Sense of loneliness or isolation<br />
<br />* impaired judgment<br />
<br />* Depression or general unhappiness<br />
<br />* Agitation, inability to relax or take it easy</p>
<p>If you are experiencing any of these symptoms of stress it is time to take action right now. Do not wait, it will harm your body sometimes irreversibly. If you get stuck in a rut and can&#8217;t get out it is usually the signs of high stress in your life. Don&#8217;t let stress take over your life it is just not worth it life is too short.</p>
<p>One of the first steps to getting stress free is first of all get yourself around people that you care about or care about you. Good human interaction is critical when looking to get stress free. Friends or family are good motivators in your own life, and should be utilized.</p>
<p>The second step you should take is to evaluate your surroundings. What is bothering you? If you can find the answer to this question confront what is bothering you and make sure to get closure on that. If you don&#8217;t it is just going to lead to more stress. Make sure to take care of your problems and do not bottle them up.</p>
<p>The third solution we have for you is very simple. Take some time out of your day and make sure to do something you enjoy. A lot of stress comes from not involving yourself in your ambitions. Most of use just get caught up in the daily grind and think we just don&#8217;t have time to do what we like. Well I hate to break it to ya, but make time, it is crucial to spend time doing what you enjoy.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What&#8217;s the best way to market your small business? The best results mostly come from face to face business networking. As an enthusiastic and very successful networking expert, this form of marketing has been featured in various articles I have written on B2B information. However within networking, like all parts of business, changes happen and you can always learn new ways to become more and more effective in how you deliver your message.</p>
<p>So to honour of my favourite form of marketing, here are the 5 C&#8217;s of networking to help you achieve greater success:</p>
<p><strong>C is for Create</strong>. Create opportunities. How? Think about how you start a conversation with a new connection at an event. What do you usually ask: &#8220;What do you do?&#8221; Are you not totally bored with this overly used networking chat up line? Next time you engage with a new business owner at an event, why not open up the conversation with this: &#8220;Tell me about your business&#8230;&#8221; or &#8220;What challenges are you facing right now/ &#8220;What recent success stories can you share?&#8221; These exchanges create opportunities to explore in greater depth, giving you the chance to find out more about how you can position your business solution.</p>
<p><strong>C is for Consistency</strong>. The saying, &#8220;out of sight, out of mind&#8221; rings very true when it comes to networking. People who turn up once or only occasionally run the risk of being forgotten quickly and/or can be seen as not serious networkers. Admittedly not every style of networking meets with an individual&#8217;s personal choice. However successful networking is built upon reliable, strong relationships, which equals consistency. Good relationships take time and effort to develop and grow. Attend once and expect instant results? You&#8217;ve got to be kidding!</p>
<p><strong>C is for Collaboration</strong>. Two heads are often better than one, so they say. Once you&#8217;ve established yourself in one or more networking groups that meet your objectives, it is a positive step to explore potential collaborative partnerships. Consider linking with others who do what you do, with a different slant/experience perhaps. Collaborations are ideal to expand thinking, to bolster support and motivation, and to enhance prospective work opportunities.</p>
<p><strong>C is for Choice</strong>. One of my favourite things about being a self-employed networker is the fact that it is my choice with whom I connect and work with, and it is my choice as to the frequency of where and when I network. Choice allows you to be selective and it gives you a freedom which an employed networking professional typically doesn&#8217;t have.</p>
<p><strong>C is for Connector</strong>. With networking as my primary focus to market my services, one thing I have learnt is to see networking as an opportunity to connect others. Rather than adopting a &#8220;selfish&#8221; attitude, however do have a strategy for what you want to achieve, think broadly when you speak with people and consider how you can connect them to other business owners you know. <p><strong>Synopsis of Content</strong>:</p>
<p>Darren Hardy brought Success Magazine back to life in 2008 and has done a fabulous job of it. Success is the oldest more or less continuously published success magazine in the United States. It was founded over a century ago by Orison Swett Marden.</p>
<p>The modern version of Success is a greater value than the older versions. In addition to a lot of great content each issue comes with a CD containing interviews with successful people, authors and experts. As just an example the April 2011 issue of the magazine contains articles by or about Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks, Seth Godin, Derek Jeter, Jack LaLanne, John Wooden, John C. Maxwell, Mel Robbins, Tom Hopkins, Barbara Weltman, Drs. Michael F. Roizen and Mehmet C. Oz, Robert Bloom, former President Jimmy Carter, Coach Mike Krzyzewski, Alexander Hamilton, and many others who are achieving success.</p>
<p>The magazine includes regular features on how to stay organized, how to help teenagers succeed, what books to read, and many other things that can help most anyone in their search for success, financial and otherwise.</p>
<p>Each issue is dedicated to a theme, the April issue is about Leading Change and how to Inspire and Focus a team.</p>
<p>If you want to stay on top of trends, learn how others succeed in life and in business and increase your general knowledge of how to become more effective there is nothing better you could do than read this magazine.</p>
<p><strong>Readability/Writing Quality</strong><strong>:   </strong></p>
<p>Success is well written and professionally laid out. The copy editing is good; I&#8217;ve yet to find a typo. Articles are mostly short and concise although each issue contains at least one or two in depth articles with good content.</p>
<p><strong>Notes on Author</strong>:</p>
<p>There are many authors for this magazine but the Editor, Darren Hardy is notable for creating the standards and the vision for the reincarnation of this American tradition. Nothing may be more American than the idea that anyone can be successful. Hardy not only subscribes to that belief he lives it and publishes it monthly.</p>
